One of the greatest temptations in homeschooling is believing every season should look the same. Some years are full of momentum. Others are marked by survival. Some seasons are about laying foundations — others are about pruning distractions, healing from burnout, or watching years of faithful work begin to bloom.
The problem isn't that our seasons change. The problem is that we often compare our current season to someone else's. God doesn't ask us to live in every season at once — He simply asks us to be faithful in the one we're in today.
Don't answer based on where you hope to be next month. Answer based on where you are today. Every season has beauty. Every season has purpose. Every season has work worth doing.
